La Rusticana d’Orsa Estate

GUIDED TOUR
La Rusticana d’Orsa is a unique estate of rare beauty tucked away in the hills of Los Gatos. Guests will stroll through the vineyard that is set atop terraced rolling hills delineated by rock walls and accented by roses, Italian Cypresses, sculpture gardens, lily ponds, and fountains. It is a spiritual microcosm of Old World charm and peace seemingly light-years away from the bustling Silicon Valley below.

TASTE
Guests will taste the award-winning Red Table Wine that is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes. The vines are tended by hand with meticulous attention to every detail. The result is a superior quality wine, soft and pliant with flavors of ripe plum, chocolate and mint.
Guests can also taste the olive oil that is produced from only estate fruit grown in the Santa Cruz Mountains. The olives are stone-pressed. The oil is Extra Virgin grade and retains the wonderful soft green hue characteristic of the finest Tuscan Extra Virgin olive oils.

FOOD
An Appetizer lunch will be served in the kitchen of Casa Subasio.
Guests will enjoy Home-Style Italian pizza from a real wood-burning pizza oven with creative gourmet toppings. For Dessert, Italian dark chocolate will be served to pair with wine.
